Only in America: University officials label students racists after mistaking exfoliating mask for blackface
University of Wisconsin officials labeled two students racists for posting photos of themselves wearing a dark exfoliating facial mask. Chancellor Beverly Kopper mistook the skin-care product for blackface, and called the photo "hurtful and destructive." Kopper later said the students should have considered "the implications" of sharing that photo publicly.
