Watch Steph Curry cap off a record-breaking week by winning a game from 38 feet out

Have you ever seen hopelessness personified? If not, take a look at Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter, standing mustachioed in his number 11 jersey on the right side of this clip:
Did you catch that helpless shrug of the shoulders, the resigned half-raise of the arms? That's what happens when what stands between your team and victory is Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, holding the ball pretty much anywhere between the mid-court line and the three-point arc. Curry on Saturday broke the league record for most three-pointers made in a single season (excluding the playoffs); his 12 triples against the Thunder (including that game-winner from 38 feet away) brought his season total to 288, beating the previous record of 286 — which Curry himself set last season.
Curry's record-breaking game caps off a monster week for the reigning league MVP, where he's averaged nearly 44 points per game over a four-game stretch. That includes his 51-point effort against the Orlando Magic on Thursday, where he set a new league record for consecutive games with at least one made three-pointer and passed the mid-century mark for the third time this year. The Warriors have 24 games left to play in this regular season, so there's plenty of time for Curry to do truly despicable things to opposing teams. Hopefully they all accept their fate as peacefully as Enes Kanter.
