A white South Carolina trooper pleaded guilty Monday in the 2014 shooting of an unarmed black man at a traffic stop, The Associated Press reports.
Sean Groubert, who stopped Levar Jones as he was walking to a convenience store, fired four shots as Jones was reaching into his car for his driver's license. The incident was caught on video, and Groubert was fired afterward.
