Donald Trump will win the Florida Republican primary, several media outlets are projecting. With 91 percent of precincts reporting, Trump has a commanding lead with 46 percent of the vote. Marco Rubio, who dropped out of the race after the networks called Florida for Trump, is a distant second with 27 percent, followed by Ted Cruz with 17 percent and John Kasich with 7 percent. Rubio, the junior senator from Florida, was banking on a win in his home state. It took an hour for the networks to give the win to Trump, but he declared victory just minutes after the first numbers started to come out of Florida. Catherine Garcia
