Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly sit down for a meeting

Longtime foes Donald Trump and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly reportedly sat down for a private meeting Wednesday to talk things out. The meeting at Trump Tower in Manhattan, held at Kelly's request, reportedly lasted almost an hour. Kelly and Trump have been at odds since the first GOP presidential debate in August when Kelly asked Trump about his past treatment of women, prompting Trump to accuse her of treating him unfairly and subsequently unleashing a barrage of criticism.
Kelly is reportedly planning to reveal what went down at the meeting on her Fox show, The Kelly File, Wednesday night.
UPDATE: In a statement to The Week, a Fox News spokesperson said: "Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes has spoken to Donald Trump a few times over the past three months about appearing on a Fox Broadcasting special with Megyn Kelly airing on May 23. Kelly requested a meeting with Mr. Trump, which took place at Trump Tower this morning. The results of that meeting will be revealed on tonight's Kelly File at 9 p.m. ET. Kelly has acknowledged in recent interviews that Trump is a fascinating person to cover and has electrified the Republican base."
