Chyna, the former WWE star found dead in her Redondo Beach, California, home last week, has donated her brain to science for CTE research, her manager said.
Anthony Anzaldo told NBC 4 her brain has been given to researcher Dr. Bennet Omalu to see if she had chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). It is believed that CTE is caused by repeated blows to the head, and it can only be diagnosed after death, once brain tissue is examined. Several deceased football players, including Junior Seau and Frank Gifford, have been diagnosed with CTE.
