Stephen Colbert explains the &quot;Man Card&quot;

On Wednesday's Late Show, Stephen Colbert recapped Tuesday night's five-state primary election, noting Donald Trump's triumphant sweep, Hillary Clinton's big victories in four states, and Bernie Sanders' winning "the participation trophy of primary/caucuses" in Rhode Island. "It's looking more than ever like this fall, the choice will be between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump," he added sardonically, "the matchup Americans did something to deserve."

Trump, who has resisted calls to sound more presidential, celebrated his big win by accusing Clinton of playing the "woman's card," saying that's her only selling point. "And Donald can say all this because he is playing something called the 'man card,' okay?" Colbert explained, pulling out his own card. "All of us guys get one of these, okay? They're great! It gets you paid more, it allows you to explain things about women to women, and, as a white man, mine's also a Get Out of Jail Free card." He ended with a look at what President Trump would sound like if he got "that 3 a.m. phone call" and phoned in his inaugural address. Watch below. Peter Weber
