Trump doubles down on sexist attack, says Clinton couldn't win city council race without 'woman card'

Trump defends his claims that Clinton is playing the "gender card".

Donald Trump faced backlash on Tuesday after claiming that Hillary Clinton wouldn't "get 5 percent of the vote" if she were a man. "The only thing she's got going is the women's vote," Trump said.

Rather than back down on his comments, Trump defended his claims Thursday on the Today show, arguing that "without the woman's card, Hillary would not even be a viable person to run for city council positions."
