It seems everyone on TV has to weigh in on Donald Trump these days, but at least former Star Trek star George Takei has met the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. On Tuesday, MSNBC's Steve Kornacki asked Takei what he learned about Trump from his time on Celebrity Apprentice, and Takei, who is voting for the Democrat in November, obliged. Trump "is a very assertive man — whether he knows an issue or not, he will be outspoken on it," Takei said. But his apparent conviction won't last, he added. "He is very indecisive, he's a chameleon."
Kornacki was surprised, noting that Trump has a reputation for being very decisive. Yes, Takei said, "he makes that statement decisively, and then he'll change it decisively. He's a very flip-floppy guy." If you watch until the end, you'll learn that Takei seems to have a bit of a grudge against Trump from Celebrity Apprentice, and is able to tie the presidential race to the shop windows of Midtown Manhattan.
