On Thursday, Barack Obama offered his official endorsement of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for president of the United States. "Look, I know how hard this job can be. That's why I know Hillary will be so good at it," Obama said, adding that he doesn't believe anyone has ever been so qualified as her to hold the executive office.

"I'm with her. I am fired up and cannot wait to get out there and campaign for Hillary," he said.

Obama's endorsement comes very shortly after he met with Bernie Sanders at the White House. "I thanked him for shining a spotlight on issues like economic inequality and the outsized influence of money in our politics and bringing young people into the process," Obama said, adding that Sanders has run "an incredible campaign."
