Hillary Clinton suggests Russia hacked the Democratic Party to help Donald Trump

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton on Sunday blamed Russia for recent hacks into her party's computer systems and suggested Moscow might be attempting to influence the U.S. election because Russian President Vladimir Putin prefers her opponent, Donald Trump.

"We know that Russian intelligence services hacked into the DNC and we know that they arranged for a lot of those emails to be released and we know that Donald Trump has shown a very troubling willingness to back up Putin, to support Putin," she said during an interview on Fox News Sunday. The FBI is investigating the Democratic Party hack and has so far declined to formally name a culprit, though officials have intimated Russian involvement is suspected.

Though she refused to explicitly claim the Putin-Trump affections run both ways, Clinton argued that "laying out the facts raises serious issues about Russian interference in our elections, in our democracy." Watch her explain her reasoning below. Bonnie Kristian
