Since the football thing didn't really work out for Tim Tebow, the former NFL quarterback, who turns 29 on Sunday, is now looking to break into a different sport altogether — Major League Baseball.

Tebow has spent the past year or so training for baseball in Arizona and Los Angeles, although he hasn't actually played seriously since he was an all-state player in high school in 2005, when he hit .494, ESPN reports. Back then, Tebow even managed to catch the attention of Angels scouts.

It's been a long decade since Tebow's baseball years, though. Nevertheless, he will invite all 30 MLB teams to a workout at the end of the month. If Tebow were to actually be signed, he would be plonked into the minor leagues for awhile before he could work his way up to the majors.

So how does his agent feel about all this? "Obviously we support Tim in his pursuit of a baseball career, as we have in all his ventures," Tebow's football agent Jimmy Sexton said.
