Ronda Rousey is returning to the UFC after a year-long hiatus. After losing to Holly Holm by second-round knockout in November 2015, Rousey has largely stayed out of the public eye, and she admitted earlier this year that she experienced suicidal thoughts after losing the match.
In her return to the Octagon, Rousey will face bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes on Dec. 30 at the UFC 207 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Before falling to Holm, Rousey had successfully defended her bantamweight title six times, often in stunningly short matches during which she won in mere seconds.
