This is why we can't have anything nice. Up until today, Ken Bone was just the undecided voter during Sunday night's presidential debate whose happy red sweater and earnest interest in energy and job creation warmed our cold, election-withered hearts.

One Twitter fan equated him to "the human version of a hug."
