Wearing "campaign paraphernalia" to the polls is technically illegal as it qualifies as "passive electioneering," although the law tends not to be strictly enforced. Still, Donald Trump's own campaign manager Kellyanne Conway was unable to scrape by on Tuesday, and got dinged for wearing her bright red "Make Polling Great Again" hat into her polling place:
It's not the first instance of one of Trump's closest allies getting called out for violating a minor voting law. Earlier on Tuesday, Eric Trump tweeted a photo of his ballot — a violation of New York State law.
