A new survey by Public Policy Polling found that Donald Trump's supporters take Christmas very, very seriously. The poll, released Monday, found that while just 34 percent of Americans think there's a War on Christmas, 60 percent of Trump voters are certain there is. Moreover, when asked whether they were more worried about the War on Christmas or the threat of war with China — home to the world's second largest economy — 24 percent of Trump voters said Christmas was their chief concern.
In other findings, the poll revealed that 31 percent of Americans still believe in Santa Claus. While 70 percent of voters are certain they're on Santa's "Nice List," just 35 percent of voters think President-elect Trump made the cut. Forty-seven percent said Trump was probably on the "Naughty List."
The poll surveyed 1,224 registered voters over the phone and online between Dec. 6 and 7. Its margin of error is plus or minus 2.8 percent.
