You don't need addresses for Uber anymore. You just need your friend's name.

Gone are the days of trying to figure out the address of the party you're at, so that your late friend can plug in the destination for their Uber driver. The transportation app launched a new feature Wednesday that will allow users to simply input their friend's name and then automatically route the car to where that friend is located — no address required.

You can't just randomly stalk your friends around town, though. First Uber pings your pal to ask them to confirm their location; if they accept, then your car will take you to where they are standing. "Important note," Buzzfeed News adds. "Uber won't follow the friend as they move around. One they confirm their location, it's a static destination." Learn more about the new service below. Jeva Lange
