A Beijing-bound Delta Airlines flight had to return to Seattle Thursday night after a passenger attacked a flight attendant.
The incident took place on Flight 129 about 45 minutes after takeoff. In a statement, Delta told USA Today "the passenger was restrained onboard and was removed from the flight by law enforcement without further incident when the aircraft arrived back in Seattle." A passenger and the flight attendant were injured, and taken to a hospital. The FBI is now investigating the incident, and it is not being seen as a security threat, Sea-Tac Airport spokesperson Perry Cooper said.
