Diet Coke unveils 4 new flavors, including a 'feisty' one
Your Diet Coke is about to look a little different.
The Coca-Cola Co. announced Wednesday that it is introducing four new Diet Coke flavors — Twisted Mango, Ginger Lime, Zesty Blood Orange, and Feisty Cherry — and a slimmer 12-ounce can, the same used for the company's Dasani sparkling water. The changes are two years in the making, and the Coca-Cola Co. is hopeful the new look will boost slumping sales and entice millennials to buy more Diet Coke.
One thing not getting a makeover is plain old Diet Coke, which the company says will taste exactly the same. The beverage will also still come in standard 12-ounce cans, bottles, and mini-cans. Look for Feisty Cherry Diet Coke and all the other new flavors to hit U.S. shelves at the end of the month.
