Train carrying Republican lawmakers collides with truck

A train carrying Republican lawmakers and their spouses to an annual retreat in West Virginia collided with a truck Wednesday, the White House confirmed. "We're fine, but our train hit a garbage truck," tweeted Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.) "Members with medical training are assisting the drivers of the truck."
One truck passenger died in the crash, while another passenger sustained "serious" injuries. The White House confirmed that no lawmakers or staff were seriously injured. NBC News reports Rep. Jason Lewis (R-Minn) is receiving treatment for a potential concussion at a local hospital.
