GOP Ohio Gov. John Kasich calls on Senate Republicans to hold off on Kavanaugh confirmation vote

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a 2016 Republican presidential candidate, doesn't get to vote on whether Judge Brett Kavanaugh gets a lifetime seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) is a presumptive "no" vote, and Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) has been a staunch Kavanaugh supporter and may not be persuadable otherwise. But amid Twitter rumblings about #NeverTrump Republicans so turned off by the Democrats' treatment of Kavanaugh that they are returning to the fold, it's worth nothing that Kasich is opposed to Kavanaugh's confirmation absent a "complete and thorough investigation" of the "serious" allegations, including "hearing from all parties involved."
