Sean Hannity insisted he would cover, not campaign with, Trump at his Missouri rally. Then he got on stage and yelled 'fake news.'
On Sunday, the Trump campaign announced that President Trump would have at least two "special guests" at his final pre-midterms rally in Cape Girardeau, Missouri: Fox News host Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Fox News tried to protest the idea that one of its journalists was going to appear at a partisan campaign rally, saying Hannity would merely be doing his show from the event, including interviewing Trump. Hannity insisted the same thing:
Funny thing:
"Promises made, promises kept," Hannity told the crowd, using one of Trump's campaign slogans. He pointed to the journalists covering the rally like journalists: "By the way all those people in the back are fake news." Fellow Fox News host Jeanine Pirro also took the stage. When Limbaugh spoke, he floated the bizarre theory that Hillary Clinton "colluded with Russia. Hillary Clinton rigged the election." The crowd chanted "Lock her up!"

White House employees Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Huckabee Sanders also appeared on stage with Trump. "I always said that women were smarter than men," Trump said with his tableau of women behind him.
