As President Trump delivers his State of the Union address, congressional women will be sending back a silent but clear message.

Democratic women in the House donned all-white outfits for Trump's speech on Tuesday, commemorating the white dresses women wore as they campaigned for the right to vote 100 years ago. As they lined up before the State of the Union, it made for a very striking statement.

Members of the Democratic Women's Working Group addressed the state of gender equality in a press conference ahead of Trump's speech. Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) discussed the "wave of suffragette white" Trump would see that night, saying that it emphasized gender equality as "a crucial piece" of the party's "for the people agenda." That includes "raising the minimum wage, wage fairness," and "access to affordable, quality child care," she added.
