FBI arrests Felicity Huffman, issues arrest warrant for Lori Loughlin
Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman has been placed under arrest, while an arrest warrant has been issued for Full House's Lori Loughlin.
The Justice Department on Tuesday announced charges against more than 40 people, including the two actresses, in connection with an alleged college admissions scheme that involved parents paying bribes to get their kids into prestigious schools by cheating on exams or falsifying information.
Huffman is now in federal custody after being arrested at her home, NBC's Andrew Blankstein reports. But there's an arrest warrant out for Loughlin, Blankstein reports; she was reportedly not at her home in Los Angeles on Tuesday when authorities arrived. ABC News reports that she is in Canada and that authorities have made contact with her; the actress is reportedly "aware there is a warrant for her arrest upon her return to the U.S."
