Nothing has been finalized yet, NBC News' Alex Moe tweeted, while ABC News' Ben Siegel says Democrats are asking for a May 15 hearing.
The House Judiciary Committee had been in discussions with the Department of Justice, but they were reportedly hesitant to set a date. Frustrated by the department's stalling, the committee decided to go straight to Mueller, who is said to be open to appearing before the panel.
