There is now one House Republican who backs an impeachment inquiry

Rep. Mark Amodei (R-Nev.) on Friday became the first House Republican to support an impeachment inquiry of President Trump, after telling reporters on a phone call that he backed the process.

Amodei, though, stressed that he didn't mean to indicate that he would vote to impeach Trump — he just thinks Congress has the proper justification to launch an inquiry as things stand.
