2020 Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard votes 'present' on impeachment
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) on Wednesday night voted "present" on both articles of impeachment against President Trump.
On Monday, Gabbard said she was still undecided as to how to vote, and was "taking this time for myself to be able to review everything that's happened, all the information that's been put forward." Gabbard is the only member of the Democratic presidential field able to vote on impeachment.
Her move ticked off former Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, now an MSNBC contributor. When told by anchor Brian Williams about Gabbard's first "present" vote, McCaskill responded, "That's just stupid."
