New York Mets manager Carlos Beltran is the latest to lose his job over the Houston Astros cheating scandal, as the Mets announced Thursday that the parties had "agreed to mutually part ways," ESPN reports.

"This was not an easy decision," Mets COO Jeff Wilpon said in a statement. "Considering the circumstances, it became clear to all parties that it was not in anyone's best interest for Carlos to move forward as manager of the New York Mets."
