#DailyMailSandwich: Twitter rises to the sarnie challenge
The Daily Mail bemoans the loss of British sandwich-making jobs to Hungarian workers - and Twitter mocks

A bathetic front-page headline in today's Daily Mail has prompted Twitter users to show off their lack of sandwich-making expertise. 'Is there no-one left in Britain who can make a sandwich?' asked the Mail.
The paper's outraged inquiry was provoked by the news that the UK's biggest sandwich maker, which supplies the handy food to supermarkets, is recruiting its workers from Hungary.
The splash headline was too good for the Twitteratti to ignore - and soon hopeless sarnies were appearing online as the Mail's liberal enemies revealed their ineptitude.

Most tweeters seemed to understand that two pieces of bread are involved in a sandwich - it was what comes between that caused them trouble:

There were Twitter users who couldn’t even grasp the bread-filling-bread sequence however:

Some people were even further off than others. This user just didn't have a clue:
Hey Daily Mail. I can make a Sandwitch. Look I made three of them. #sandwichgate pic.twitter.com/cfgy026krR — Sy Thomas (@Sy_Thomas) November 10, 2014
Shadow chancellor Ed Balls's parody site made this sandwich, just what a heavy-hitting politician needs to get through the day:
If elected we will address this sandwich making skills gap @MailOnline As this must stop: pic.twitter.com/m6LQqcvC8z — Ed Balls (@eddbaIlsmp) November 10, 2014
