Mel Brooks wants to make Spaceballs 2 — but there's a catch

Spaceballs the lunchbox. Spaceballs the flamethrower. Spaceballs — the sequel?

Yes, comedian Mel Brooks said in a recent interview on Adam Carolla's Take a Knee podcast that he's interested in making a sequel to his seminal comedy movie, Spaceballs. The one problem: Brooks said he would first have to get Rick Moranis — aka Dark Helmet — on board with the project, but Moranis has been more or less retired for a decade; Moranis' last voiceover work came in 2006, and he hasn't acted in a film since the late '90s
