New York Daily News calls Trump 'dead clown walking' in post-Iowa front page
In recent months, the New York Daily News has printed several provocative covers, and Tuesday's front page sets its sights on Donald Trump.
Dubbing Trump "dead clown walking," the paper calls attention to the fact that while the New York billionaire came in second after Ted Cruz, he "nearly" slipped to third place, and sounded like a "beaten man" during his "morose concession" speech. Those are some of the nicer things the newspaper says about Trump — it also accuses him of "bombastic blather" and "race-baiting proclamations."
