Following a crushing loss in his home state of Florida, Marco Rubio announced he is suspending his presidential campaign.

Rubio addressed supporters in Miami, thanking them for "working as hard as anyone worked," and said that while they are "on the right side, we won't be on the winning side." Rubio said there needs to be a "new political establishment in our party," which is more inclusive and doesn't tell "young people to wait their turn, to wait in line." Rubio will "remain hopeful and optimistic about America," he said, and will continue to search for ways to "repay some of this extraordinary debt that I owe this great country."
