Donald Trump to skip Monday's Fox News debate
Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will not be attending Monday's Fox News debate, opting to instead make an appearance before the pro-Israel lobby group AIPAC.
"I think it's enough," Trump said of Republican primetime debates, according to Politico. "I'm doing a major speech in front of a very important group of people that night."
After a series of primary victories on Tuesday, Trump holds more than half the delegates needed to be the Republican nominee, at 621. His closest competitor, Ted Cruz, trails significantly with 395 delegates.
