Just months before they move out, the Obama family decided to let the world in. The First Family invited the magazine Architectural Digest to capture a tour of the White House's private quarters, and the results were published Tuesday in a video and a photo slideshow.

While some slivers look just as colonially classic as the rest of the White House, the Obama family didn't shy away from giving the pad their own touch. There's stunning modern art on the walls, a record player nestled among a massive bouquet of flowers and antique vases, and some seriously comfy-looking couches in the Solarium.
