France beat Croatia in the final and England’s Harry Kane won the Golden Boot
France are the champions after a 4-2 victory against Croatia in the 2018 World Cup final.
It’s the second time in history that Les Bleus have won the World Cup after triumphing on home soil in 1998.
It was a personal triumph for French boss Didier Deschamps who becomes the third man to win the World Cup as both a player and a coach. He was also the French captain in 1998.
