Denmark got the point they needed against France to qualify for the World Cup round of 16.

A goalless draw between the two European nations, the first 0-0 at this summer’s finals, saw France finish top of group C and Denmark end up in second.

Australia started the day in with a chance of qualifying but they lost their final match against Peru 2-0 to finish bottom of the group.
