From dirt to animals in suits – the strangest items advertised on the site

The Freecycle Network, usually referred to as Freecycle, is now active in more than 85 countries, providing hundreds of local message boards where users can give away unneeded items or request them from others.

Its mission to reduce the amount of unwanted items destined for landfills is undoubtedly noble, and every day thousands of freecyclers find that one man's trash is another man's treasure. But with millions of users posting to more than 3,500 local boards, a few of the items on offer are bound to be a bit… odd. Behold some of the weirdest items spotted on Freecycle:
