Best websites: The newest niche dating sites
These sites connect bibliophiles, Apple fans, marijuana tokers, and virgins.
Alikewise.com is a free dating site for bibliophiles, dedicated to the proposition that “you can tell a lot about a person by looking at his or her books.”
Cupidtino.com connects fans of Apple products, arguing that Apple fans match up well because they “tend to have creative professions, a similar sense of style, and an appetite for technology.” Monthly fee: $4.79.
420Dating.com feels that a mutual love for marijuana is enough to make a match. While the site claims not to advocate the use of illegal substances, the words “Why Toke Alone?” are “emblazoned” atop the home page. Monthly fee: $9.95.
