Japanese orgy offends
The week's news at a glance.
Zhuhai, China
The Chinese are furious over reports that a group of Japanese tourists brought hundreds of Chinese prostitutes to a Zhuhai hotel for a weekend of debauchery. The state-run newspaper China Daily said some 400 Japanese men brought in crowds of prostitutes for a three-day sex romp in the hotel. The incident is being seen in China as a national insult because it took place on the anniversary of Japan’s brutal 1931 invasion of Manchuria.
