2. Tom Hanks' niece has meltdown after being eliminated from reality show

Tom Hanks' niece just became a reality show's first castaway, and she didn't take it well. Carly Reeves, niece of the Oscar-winning actor, was a competitor on Monday's season premiere of "Claim to Fame," the ABC reality competition show where relatives of celebrities must keep their identity a secret. Reeves became the first person eliminated after her relationship with Hanks was correctly guessed, and she immediately began crying and screaming, complaining that the clues about her were too obvious. "I didn't even get to do any challenges!" she yelled before exclaiming, "I don't deserve this! I should have more camera time! I should be here longer!" She also called one of the other contestants "not even, like, smart." Reeves later admitted to Entertainment Weekly she "overreacted a little bit" because she's an "emotional, very dramatic person," but she added she was "just saying things out of my mouth." Reality shows are like boxes of chocolates: You never know what you're going to get.

3. Jennifer Lawrence "passionately" threw up after "Hot Ones"

The latest episode of "Hot Ones" got a bit too hot for Jennifer Lawrence. On Monday's "Watch What Happens Live," Lawrence revealed she vomited almost immediately after appearing on the popular talk show recently and eating ridiculously spicy wings. "I passionately threw up after," she said. "Violently." According to Lawrence, the episode was taped at a Four Seasons where she was promoting her movie "No Hard Feelings," and she had to rush up to her suite to hurl. "My stomach gave me eight minutes to get upstairs," she said. Lawrence tasted what host Sean Evans described on the show as the "hottest, most disgusting hot sauce" in the world, and she looked miserable after trying it, proclaiming, "I feel like I'm gonna die!" The odds just weren't in her stomach's favor.

4. Pink fan apparently throws mother's ashes on stage

Welcome to a world in which musicians must urge fans to keep their loved one's remains to themselves. A video shared on Twitter showed Pink performing in London when she leaned over to pick something up that had apparently been thrown on the stage: a bag containing someone's mother's ashes. "This is your mom?" Pink says in the video, holding the bag up. "I don't know how I feel about this." It was the latest instance of a fan taking it upon themselves to throw something on stage during a performance. In a much more violent episode, someone recently threw a phone at Bebe Rexha while she was performing, striking her in the face. The video showed Pink slowly placing the bag on the stage before awkwardly resuming the song. Fans were disturbed by the moment, though at least "I Think You Should Leave" surely got a sketch idea out of it.

5. Mattel executive insists "Barbie" is "not a feminist movie"

"Barbie" may be PG-13, but some Mattel executives don't want to use the F-word. In a new Time story, Mattel Films executive producer Robbie Brenner insisted "Barbie" is "not a feminist movie." This sentiment was "echoed by other Mattel executives" but was a "striking contrast to my interpretation of the film and conversations with many of the actors," wrote journalist Eliana Dockterman. Producer and star Margot Robbie also seemed surprised by this comment. "Who said that?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and sighing. "It's not that it is or it isn't. It's a movie. It's a movie that's got so much in it." The report also revealed that Mattel president Richard Dickson once flew to set to argue against an "off-brand" scene, though Gerwig and Robbie changed his mind. The Time journalist, who has seen "Barbie," described the film as a "fun yet self-aware romp," teasing that Ryan Gosling "nearly steals the show." That sound you hear is Christopher Nolan punching a wall.
