Much more should be done to ensure the government’s energy support measures are better understood argues the University of Oxford’s Sam Hampton and Jan Rosenow and the University of Bath’s Lorraine Whitmarsh.

If you thought energy bills in Britain were capped at £2,500, you are not alone. Even Prime Minister Liz Truss recently made the same mistake, incorrectly claiming that no household would pay more.
