1. Taylor Swift changes controversial "Better Than Revenge" lyric on "Speak Now" re-recording
Drop everything now. "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" has finally debuted, but not without a key tweak. The track "Better Than Revenge," which Swift seemingly wrote about actress Camilla Belle supposedly stealing Joe Jonas from her, originally contained the infamous lyric, "She's better known for the things that she does on the mattress." It hasn't exactly aged well, and after years of slut-shaming accusations, Swift has revised that line on the re-recorded version. The lyric has been changed to, "He was a moth to the flame, she was holding the matches." Other than that, the re-recording is largely faithful to the 2010 album, but with some new tracks added in "from the vault." One of them, "Timeless," seems to be inspired by Swift's grandparents, whose photos are used in the lyric video. Another is called "When Emma Falls in Love," and fans are convinced it's about Swift's friend Emma Stone — and possibly her relationship with Kieran Culkin. Coming in 2036: "Succession (Taylor's Version)."
2. Candace Cameron Bure denies trying to remove queer character from "Fuller House"
How rude! Miss Benny, who played the first openly gay character, Casey, on "Fuller House," strongly implied in a TikTok that Candace Cameron Bure tried to have her removed from the show. "I got sat down by the writers and the studio to basically warn me how this person allegedly was trying to get the character removed and not have a queer character on the show," she said, also alleging "one of the Tanner sisters is very publicly not for the girls." She didn't name Bure but was addressing a comment asking if "Candace" was "homophobic." Bure, though, has denied the allegation, telling People she "never asked Miss Benny's character" to be removed, nor did she ask "to not have queer characters on the show." Bure previously faced backlash after promising that the Great American Family network wouldn't have holiday movies centered on same-sex couples. She subsequently said she has "great love and affection for all people."

3. Ashley Benson is marrying oil heir Brandon Davis
She's going from spring breaker to honeymooner. Ashley Benson has gotten engaged to Brandon Davis just five months after their relationship was confirmed. She revealed the news on her Instagram story, sharing a photo of the huge ring originally posted by Davis, who wrote, "Love of my life." In February, People confirmed that Benson and Davis were seeing each other, with a source telling the outlet, "They have a lot of mutual friends and are both super fun and very social people." Davis, 43, is the grandson of billionaire oil tycoon Marvin Davis, who died in 2004 but once owned 20th Century Fox. Brandon has been arrested for battery, cocaine possession, and DUI in the past, the Daily Mail notes, describing him as a "mid-2000s party boy." He also infamously said Lindsay Lohan "has got a firecrotch" while Paris Hilton laughed along in a controversial 2006 video, which at this point is practically old enough to get married itself.
4. Britney Spears is waiting for a "public apology" after alleged assault by Victor Wembanyama's security
The Slap has taken on a new meaning in 2023. Britney Spears has spoken out after allegedly being assaulted by NBA star Victor Wembanyama's security. In a statement shared on social media, the singer alleged she simply tapped Wembanyama on the shoulder, hoping to congratulate him on his success, when his security "back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd." She added, "I get swarmed by people all the time. In fact, that night. I was swarmed by a group of at least 20 fans. My security team didn't hit any of them." Spears also said it's important to share this story to "urge people in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect," and she noted she has "yet to get a public apology" from Wembanyama or his security. Wembanyama, meanwhile, told reporters he "didn't see what happened" but claimed Spears, whose identity he didn't learn until later, "grabbed me from behind."

5. "John Wick: Chapter 4" almost had an unambiguous ending
Baba Yaga lives … probably! The director of "John Wick: Chapter 4" has revealed the action film almost had a completely different ending. The movie — spoiler alert! — concluded with the apparent demise of Keanu Reeves' character, and just when you're expecting a reveal that John Wick faked his own death, the credits begin to roll. Well, director Chad Stahelski now tells Empire that "we shot a different ending" in which "you actually saw John Wick at the end of the movie," and "it was very clear that he was still alive." According to Stahelski, though, "the audiences we tested with absolutely preferred the ambiguous ending." Still, the fact that such an ending was even considered certainly suggests John Wick isn't dead. But despite the fact that a fifth film has been announced, Stahelski told Empire he actually doesn't know if "Chapter 5" will happen, as "I don't have a take right now." We've got four words for you, Chad: John Wick meets Dracula.
