1. CHRIS HUHNE RESIGNS FROM CABINET
Lib Dem MP Chris Huhne has resigned as Energy Secretary following the announcement that he and his ex-wife Vicky Pryce are to be charged with perverting the course of justice over allegations she accepted a speeding penalty on his behalf. A Cabinet reshuffle is expected, with Business Minister Ed Davey the favourite to replace Huhne.

2. FA STRIPS JOHN TERRY OF CAPTAINCY
The FA has stripped John Terry of the England captaincy. Chairman David Bernstein informed manager Fabio Capello and the player this morning. Terry, who is due to face trial in July over allegations he racially abused Anton Ferdinand, is still be available for selection.

The captain of the Costa Concordia was having an affair with former cruise ship dancer whose lingerie has been found in his cabin, according to reports. Capt Francesco Schettino, 52, had dinner with 25-year-old Domnica Cemortan on the evening of the disaster.

4. DONALD TRUMP ENDORSES ROMNEY
Business tycoon Donald Trump has endorsed the candidacy of Mitt Romney. “Mitt Romney is tough and he’s smart,” said Trump. Meanwhile, comedienne and actress Roseanne Barr has filed papers to run for the White House on a Green Party ticket.

5. FTSE JUMPS ON GOOD US JOBS NEWS
The FTSE 100 put on 60 points today, celebrating good news from America where unemployment has fallen for the fifth consecutive month. US non-farm payrolls increased by 243,000 in January – well ahead of forecasts. The Washington Post expects the jobs surge to boost Obama's re-election hopes.
6. BISHOP BACKS GAY MARRIAGE
A senior bishop has openly backed gay marriage for the first time, as the issue continues to divide the Church of England. The Bishop of Salisbury, the Right Rev Nicholas Holtam, told The Times he no longer distinguishes between heterosexual and same-sex unions.
7. WOMEN BOMBARD KIM DOTCOM
The obese Kim Schmitz, aka Mr Dotcom, has been inundated with letters from women as he is held on remand on charges of internet piracy and money laundering. The six foot four inch, 300 pound millionaire told a New Zealand courtroom that the advances are not welcome.

8. SUN EDITOR RECALLED BEFORE LEVESON
The editor of The Sun, Dominic Mahon, is to be recalled before the Leveson inquiry into press standards, apparently to answer questions about the paper's use of "sexualised images". Women's groups hope Leveson's interest might sound the death knell for such long-standing traditions as the Page Three girl.

9. GPS OPPOSE HEALTH REFORMS
The Royal College of GPs has called for the Government’s proposed health reforms to be scrapped. The college, which represents 34,000 GPs, said the plans could cause "irreparable damage" to health care. The British Medical Association has also opposed the reforms.
10. HOT TICKET: JUNO TEAM ARE BACK
The latest black comedy collaboration from ‘Juno’ writer Diabolo Cody and director Jason Reitman opens at UK cinemas today. In 'Young Adult', Charlize Theron stars as Mavis, a self-absorbed, divorced, teen fiction writer, who returns to her home town to reclaim her high school sweetheart. Rolling Stone calls it “note-perfect”.
