1. Prince William: 'We are very much not a racist family'
Prince William is breaking his silence on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell interview. The Duke of Cambridge briefly responded to a reporter's questions during a public appearance on Thursday, declaring, "We are very much not a racist family." When asked if he has spoken with his brother, William said that he hasn't yet, but plans to do so. Among the most shocking revelations in Harry and Meghan's Oprah Winfrey interview was that there were allegedly "concerns" in the royal family about "how dark" Archie's skin color would be, prompting days of speculation about who made these racist comments — and, according to one report, leaving the queen herself with plans to "privately quiz senior royals" to find the culprit.
2. Matthew McConaughey is considering running for governor of Texas after all
Matthew McConaughey has gone from "surprised" to read rumors of his political ambitions, to chatting about "aggressive centrism," to now apparently openly considering a bid for the Texas governorship. Speaking on a podcast on Wednesday, the actor said running for governor in Texas is "a true consideration." "I'm looking into now again, 'what is my leadership role?'" said McConaughey, 51. "Because I do think I have some things to teach and share. What is my role, what is my category in my next chapter of life that I'm going into now?" Even though he previously said he doesn't "get" politics, saying it "seems to be a broken business to me right now," it seems he's come around. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), you've been warned.

3. Rosamund Pike buries awards in her garden
When it comes to displaying her awards, it sounds like Rosamund Pike doesn't actually care a lot after all. Pike recently won a surprise Golden Globe for I Care a Lot, something you might figure she'd quickly put on a nice shelf. But she revealed to Ellen DeGeneres she actually buries the awards she's received — not in the sense of tucking them away out of sight, but as in literally in the ground. "I find it an uneasy thing to display any award in your home,” Pike said. "So I bury them in the garden, with a little bit showing up." To anyone who might purchase Pike's property down the line, then, be sure to have a shovel ready.
4. Kanye reportedly tells Kim to only contact him 'through my security'
If Kim Kardashian wants to contact Kanye West, she can evidently have her people call his people — his security people, that is. Kardashian recently filed for divorce from West, and as the two co-parent their children, a source told Page Six the rapper has "changed his numbers" and declared to Kardashian she can only "contact me through my security." The report adds that despite this "animosity" between the two, West has been regularly visiting the kids "while Kim is out." West apparently took the step of changing his numbers before the divorce filing in February. He may not have quite hit Kardashian with a "new phone, who dis," but it sounds like that's the kind of energy he's going for.

5. Harry Potter's Katie Leung says she was told to deny being subjected to racist attacks
Harry Potter's Katie Leung is speaking out about the racist attacks she experienced while starring in the series — and about being told to pretend they weren't even happening. Leung, who played Cho Chang, in a recent podcast reflected on seeing "a lot of racist s---" about her on a Harry Potter fan website after she was cast. But she also revealed she spoke with publicists about this, and "I remember them saying to me, 'Oh, look Katie, we haven't seen these, these websites that people are talking about. And you know, if you get asked that just say it's, say it's not true, say it's not happening.'" Sadly, it was happening, and looking back at the franchise just somehow became more depressing.
