Long and the short of it: Sami Khedira wants a Fifa 18 haircut
German midfielder tweets about his wrong hairdo in new football video game

Fifa 18 has been hailed for its immersive gameplay - but one famous “critic” has put the boot into EA Sports’ latest football video game.
Juventus and Germany star Sami Khedira has taken to Twitter to (sort of) criticise Fifa 18: not because of his player ratings, but because of his out-of-date haircut in the latest version of the flagship gaming franchise.
Fifa 18 shows the midfielder with long hair and a headband, but as Khedira was quick to point out, he’s had a short hairdo for more than two years.

Yesterday on Twitter Khedira said: “Hey @EASPORTSFIFA, I’m really glad you like my long hair… but I’m wearing it short for almost two years now…”
His tweet was quickly pounced upon by media, fans and even Fifa’s gaming rivals Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), who replied that he looked “good” with his short hair in #PES2018.
Sporf called the moment “awkward”, while fan account FFJuventus said Khedira had “won the internet”.
