The motoring and fashion industry have gone hand-in-hand for decades.
Luxury carmakers often look to designer brands to improve the styling of their cars' interiors, or create limited edition models with bespoke cabins.
For example, Lamborghini partnered with fashion designer Versace to create eight special versions of its Murcielago LP 640 supercar. Versace stripped out the V12-engined supercar's interior and replaced it with its own two-tone leather upholstery.

Now Alfa Romeo has joined the list of carmakers that have collaborated with fashion brands, although the results are slightly different from what car fans may be expecting.
Rather than fitting one of its cars with a designer interior, Alfa Romeo has partnered with British tailor Hawes & Curtis to create a suit inspired by the styling of its vehicles.
The result is a limited edition outfit that takes several design cues from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchback and subtly blends them in to an Italian wool-crafted suit.
Alfa's styling influences include carbon fibre buttons, a tie with a honeycomb grille design and red contrast stitching similar to that found on the car's leather steering wheel.
The suit is resistant to water thanks to a protective layer.
In addition to a limited addition suit, the partnership has created an Alfa Romeo-inspired women's shirt. While it may look like a plain white shirt, closer inspection reveals thin red vertical stitching and red buttons.
Hawes & Curtis designer Kate Regan says the "beautiful details such as the fluid lines of the car and the characteristic red highlights along the interior upholstery are echoed in the garments.
"I designed the collection specifically for corporate professionals who appreciate sleek design, attention to detail and impeccable quality."
