French literati want ‘brexit’ to join national lexicon

A French literary commentator has launched a tongue-in-cheek campaign for a dictionary entry for “brexit”. Bernard Pivot, chairman of the Goncourt Literary Society, proposes it as a common noun with a small “b”, denoting “a cacophonous and insoluble debate or a shambolic meeting”.
