Nevada bracing for invasion of zombie deer

Authorities fear that zombie deer may invade the US state of Nevada. The deer are suffering from a highly contagious chronic wasting disease that makes them lethargic and extremely weak but also overrides their usual fear of people.

A Nevada wildlife department veterinarian said of the threat of human infection: “It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.”

Doctors in Brazil were forced to perform surgery using their phones’ lights after a power cut. The president of the Syndicate of Doctors of Piaui, Samuel Moreira Rego, confirmed on social media that the hospital had been “working with the light from mobile phone torches”.

Video boosts ‘Elvis is alive’ theory

Conspiracy theories that Elvis Presley is still alive have resurfaced after a video filmed in 2016 showed a white-haired elderly man singing in Arkansas. After the film was posted online, a commenter remarked: “There is no mistaking that voice, sings it the exact same, it's 100% Elvis is singing this song.”
