David Cameron’s bodyguard ‘left a gun in plane toilet’

Police are investigating allegations that former prime minister David Cameron's bodyguard left his gun in a plane toilet. According to reports, a passenger found the weapon, believed to be a 9mm Glock pistol, and handed it to flight attendants on a transatlantic flight. A passenger said that when the captain confirmed a gun had been found it “freaked everyone out”.
Fish that lived through two world wars discovered
The world's oldest freshwater fish, that lived through two world wars, has been discovered. The bigmouth buffalo fish in question lived to be around 112 years old – a much longer life than the 26 years previously expected of its species. Around 85-90% of the fish analysed in the study were over 80 years old.

LA police rescue sea lion from busy road
Police in California said a sea lion pup was rescued while attempting to slowly cross a busy stretch of highway near Los Angeles. The force said a driver who spotted the sea lion on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach called 911. A group of troopers captured the animal using a snare and a blanket. The pup will be released back into the ocean.
