A pair of Michael Jordan's signed, match-worn shoes from 1985 broke the world auction record for trainers, according to Sotheby's. The online auction for the Nike Air Jordan 1 shoes closed at $560,000. The sale coincided with the popular Jordan documentary, The Last Dance.
South Korean football club uses sex toys as pretend fans
A South Korean football team has accidentally used sex dolls as pretend supporters for a behind-closed-doors match. FC Seoul wanted to use plastic fans in the seats for their clash against Gwangju FC on Sunday but viewers pointed out that the stand-ins looked more like sex dolls. The club has apologised and insisted it did not order an “adult product”.

Hong Kong store launches tear-gas ice cream
An ice cream shop in Hong Kong is selling “tear-gas” flavour ice cream. The shop owner says he introduced the curious flavour to remind locals about the pro-democracy protests and show support for the political movement. A customer said: “It tastes like tear gas. It feels difficult to breathe at first, and it’s really pungent and irritating.”
